Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Rapid Shine Inc. website, enquiries, quotations and detailing appointments. A confirmed booking indicates acceptance of the applicable service terms.

Quotes and vehicle condition

Published prices are starting or standard prices based on vehicle category. Final pricing may vary with vehicle size, condition, contamination, pet hair, stains, odours, sap, overspray or other specialty work. Material changes are discussed before additional paid work begins.

Customer preparation and access

Customers must provide lawful permission and a safe, suitable place for the service. Personal items should be removed from the console, glovebox, trunk and other areas to be cleaned. Filled or inaccessible areas may not be serviced. Rapid Shine does not provide service in underground parking facilities. We can work inside a sufficiently spacious private garage or commercial shop when access, ventilation and working conditions are suitable.

Results and pre-existing conditions

We aim for substantial improvement, but cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, odour, scratch, paint defect or contaminant. Results depend on age, severity, materials and safe working limits. Pre-existing damage, loose trim, failing clear coat, worn materials and undisclosed repairs may limit results.

Weather, operating season and rescheduling

Rapid Shine generally operates from approximately April or May through October, with opening and closing dates determined by weather and safe working conditions. Light rain or drizzle may allow service to continue. Heavy rain, storms, unsafe temperatures or other unsuitable conditions may require rescheduling unless the customer has a sufficiently spacious private garage or shop. Customers are not charged when Rapid Shine cancels or reschedules an appointment because of weather.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a $50 fee when rebooking. This fee does not apply when Rapid Shine cancels because of unsuitable weather.

Payment

Payment is due when service is completed unless written commercial terms were agreed in advance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit, cash and e-transfer.
